READ FURTHER :There are 101 vehicles rated in the survey - TATA has two vehicles on that list - The Indica at number 99 and the Tata Telcoline bakkie at number 101.

14/09/2005 Vehicle purchased
30/01/2006 10 000km service (door sticking, rattling and sqeaking) – PAID R 1 118.43
22/02/2006 In Workshop for starting problems (was taken to them +- 7 times to sort this problem out)
18/04/2006 Vehicle won’t start – taken in a few times to fix
31/05/2006 20 000km service (Cab leaking, cutting out, rattling and still sqeaking) PAID R 1 508.53
03/10/2006 30 000km Service (cab still leaking & chassis knocking) PAID R 1 436.49
15/02/2007 40 0000km service (Suspension still squeking and power steering had broken down (P/S liquid had leaked out in parking area of Cavendish square) PAID R 2 180.91
06/07/2007 50 000km service (Rattling in door and gears were sticky) PAID R 1 414.83
03/08/2007 Rattling and noise from clutch/engine area (TATA OOSTENBERG WORKSHOP CHECKED AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG)
20/09/2007 60 000km service (Bakkie misfiring) PAID R 1 767.11
Please Note: THIS PRIVATE VEHICLE IS ONLY DRIVEN BY ME AND SELDOM HAS ANYTHING LOADED ONTO IT! - it is not a hardworking vehicle
18/12/2007 Crankshaft pulley came loose and resulted in a warranty repair job. (after fighting with Tata (SA)
+- March 2008 (68 000KM) CLUTCH GIVES IN TOTALLY – QUOTED +- R 8 000.00 BY IVAN LINTNAAR AT TATA OOSTENBERG , WHO SAYS THIS IS NORMAL.
"New clutch at 68000 km is normal "says TATA OOSTENBERG. Factor R8500 in when you buy a TATA Telcoline!"
** NEWSFLASH ** TATA OOSTENBERG CLOSED DOWN AT END OF JANUARY 2009 - NOW THEY WILL BE THREATENING UNHAPPY CLIENTS IN PAARL (Tata Paarl Valley) INSTEAD OF SORTING OUT THE PROBLEMS WITH THE - - - - THEY SOLD THEM
- GOOD RIDDANCE !!!! RIP - RIP - RIP - RIP
